Snake calmed in pressure, Spider roused for space, 

Snake enjoyed warm earth, Spider preferred cool air,

Snake hissed piercingly loud, Spider stepped quietly,

Snake coiled during the day, Spider spiraled at night,

Snake lashed out violently, Spider entangled delicately,

Snake glared a fierce gaze, Spider hid behind many eyes,

Snake moved first and quickly, Spider waited to move last.


Both bite poison, 

One to eat the dead,

One to eat the living,

Enough can renew, 

To much will consume,

Life is but death to them,

Death becoming life again,

Tail eaters and network harvesters,

Dream creators and nightmare weavers.
